Link Foundation Energy Fellowships

The Link Foundation fosters education and innovation in energy that have potential for significant impacts on societal energy supply and utilization. Each year, the Foundation awards two-year fellowships to be used for the Fellow's academic year and summer stipend.

  • Applicant must be working toward a Ph.D. in an academic institution. (Please note that the applicant must be accepted in a Ph.D. program.)
  • No limitations have been placed on citizenship.
  • Fellowships are only tenable at U.S. and Canadian Universities.

Preference will be given to candidates who have a well-defined thesis direction, but who still have enough time remaining working toward their Ph.D. in which a Link Foundation Fellowship could make a difference.

Applications are typically due late fall or early winter of each year. Check the Link Foundation Energy Fellowships website for more information about the program and upcoming deadlines.

What’s the use of having developed a science well enough to make predictions if, in the end, all we’re willing to do is stand around and wait for them to come true?
