Green and Healthy Homes Initiative: Program Assistant

The Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI) seeks a full time Program Assistant at its Baltimore, MD office to serve as a liaison between families and appropriate agencies and internal programs when seeking services and assistance. Additionally, the Program Assistant will be asked to provide health education on environmental health hazards that affect the family’s health and safety. They may also be asked to participate in outreach events as a GHHI representative.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Software
  • Highly organized, self-motivated with attention to detail, self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and phone skills
  • Strong data entry skills and proficiency
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and consistent client follow-up
  • Must possess strong work ethic and reputation for exhibiting teamwork in meeting job responsibilities and organizational goals
  • Must possess a high degree of energy, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Must possess own vehicle for transportation
  • Experience working with HUD, DOE, Healthy Homes, lead hazard reduction, or rehabilitation related projects a plus
