National Renewable Energy Laboratory Internships

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is a national laboratory of the US Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, headquartered in Golden, Colorado (near Denver) and operated by the Alliance for Sustainable Energy, LLC. NREL advances the science and engineering of energy efficiency, sustainable transportation, and renewable power technologies and provides the knowledge to integrate and optimize energy systems. 

NREL offers many different internship opportunities to full-time undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to NREL-sponsored internships, the laboratory works with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science to provide the Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship, Community College Internship, and Visiting Faculty Programs.
